Lacie Biggest S2S Drive not working on Lion OSX

Hi all,

Last night something really amazing happened, I upgraded my operating system to Lion OSX!
I was really happy about it, but then I tried to access my Lacie Biggest S2S External drive, that is connected to my laptop via an express card and e-SATA (I know a bunch of mumbo jumbo techie stuff...) But here goes, ---BOOM--- Nothing happened... my drive didn't show up on my desktop (the way it normally does...

OMG! You can imaging my frustration and shock - what can I do? All my photos are on that drive, years of work, all backup twice, how can I work like that???

I could not sleep, looking for solution at 2AM in the morning.. finding NOTHING! So I decided to ask Lacie Support, after all I paid $2000 for this drive, I think I deserve some support... right? So I create a support ticket, and here is the transcript of it...

Can't access my drive after installing Lion OSX - NEED IT ASAP!!!

Hello Tsafrir,
My name is Jon, and I’ll be answering your questions today.

Since this model has been discontinued for many years, it is not supported for use with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).

I can only recommend sticking with using the device in supported Mac OS environments.

Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding this. Thank you very much for your patience.

Regards,
Jon

Hello Tsafrir,
The data should still be accessible on the unit from a computer that is running an earlier version of Mac OS X.
I apologize that we didn't have a better resolution for you on this. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, otherwise you can close the ticket if you feel we are finished.

I appreciate your patience.
Regards,
Jon

*** End of transcript.

So now I'm really pissed off, I paid so much money for this drive, and now what?
So I continue my search online, and I find that I simply need to install a new driver for my express card. I find the good driver, and I - FIRST - uninstall the old driver by going to the //Library/stratup --> and removing the old driver, and then after reboot, install the new driver that can be found here:

And - YES!!!! Everything is working again!!! Woohoo!!! :)

Now I can go back to sleep :) LOL

Just wanted to share... Maybe this will help someone with the same problem.
